Mark McGwire 1998 Game Used Bat (34.5”)
Though the record has since been broken the mystique that surrounds McGwire will live on forever. Offered is his Rawlings Adirondack “Big Stick” used during that memorable record setting season of ’98. Its midsection and handle are nicely and evenly toned with a layer of pine tar and the barrel, embossed with his block letter name, displays light but evident use. Written on the knob in black ink is, “33 McGwire”, stamped below that is, “MAC 25” and “347 98”. A gorgeous specimen from one of the games all-time great sluggers.
