Mark Messier Game Used Stick
He was commonly known as "Moose" for his physical strength as well as the strength of his leadership. In New York, however, he is also known as "The Messiah" or simply "The Captain." This Louisville graphite shaft stick has original tape on the butt end, which has "11" written on it in silver. The blade has original tape also and has "MESSIER" stamped on it. Also signed in 5/10 gold paint pen on the blade tape. While Mark Messier established his fame during the Edmonton Oilers' Stanley Cup run in the mid-80s, it was his leadership that helped the Rangers end their lengthy championship drought in 1994.
