Martina Navratilova's Last Wimbledon Match Worn & Signed Uniform and Raquet

Martina Navratilova's Last Wimbledon Match Worn & Signed Uniform and Raquet

Her skills were extraordinary, her career winning totals...otherworldly. Martina Navratilova is inarguably one of the greatest female players the sport has ever seen and her closely guarded, somewhat mysterious personal life has raised the general interest of fans to a level of fascination never before witnessed. Over the course of a career that spanned four decades she has won on every surface and in every format but nothing is as impressive as her astonishing twenty victories at Wimbledon (in singles women's doubles, and mixed doubles combined). We proudly offer her custom made Bosworth tennis racquet and Under Armor shirt and shorts used and worn on July 3, 2006 during her last appearance at Wimbledon. At the age of 49 years, 9 months Martina and her partner Liezel Huber defeated Jelena Jankovic/Tina Krizan 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Navratilova/Huber would lose their next match and on July 4th 2006 Martina announced this would be her last Wimbledon, making this racquet and uniform the last she would ever win with on tennis' biggest stage. Each of the items display gentle but noticeable use and are autographed by her in black sharpie (all 9/10). The complete set was later beautifully mounted and framed to 35x43" as it exists today. Signed letter of authenticity from Martina
