Matching Pair of 1890s Tennis Statues
A matching pair, these fine quality statues in spelter show two of the earliest figural tennis players you will see. We have not seen another pair in all our travels. They stand about 14" tall in original black paint on original wood bases. There is some paint loss and the head of one racket is broken off but is a relatively easy repair as we have the piece. Marvelous early look and design.
