Maurice Richard’s 1951 Lord Calvert Montreal Canadiens MVP Trophy (21”)

Maurice Richard was honored at center ice in the Montreal Forum on April 3, 1951 and presented with the Lord Calvert Trophy, the award bestowed upon the Montreal Canadiens’ Most Valuable Player. Maurice Richard received the honor in 1951 for his 42 goal performance during the regular season (65 games). A gold plaque set below the Winston clock reads “Maurice Richard, Player of Distinction, 1951”. The trophy has been professionally restored to its former glory.
