A great Mets melange. Start with a Keith Hernandez game used blue Mets batting helmet signed by Hernandez in gold sharpie on the brim. The signature rates an "8.5" out of a possible 10. The size 7 1/4 helmet shows good use and "Mex" taped to the back under the "ABC" logo. Next is a black game used Keith Hernandez first baseman's glove signed by Hernandez is gold sharpie. The autograph is slightly faded and ranks a "6" out of a possible 10. The mitt was manufactured by Wilson and shows plenty of game wear. "#17 Mex" is written in gold sharpie by the thumb area. Also included in this collection are two beautiful Louisville Slugger World Series black bats, one from 1973 and one from the 1969 World Champion Miracle Mets. The names of all the Mets are stamped on both bats including Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan, Gil Hodges, Tug McGraw and Cleon Jones on the 1969 bat with Seaver, Yogi Berra, Willie Mays, Jerry Koosman, Rusty Staub and Jon Matlack among the names on the 1973 model. Both bats are NRMT. Finally a beautiful Ray Knight model bat manufactured by Worth and signed by over 25 members of the 1986 World Champion Mets in black sharpie. Signatures include Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez, Knight, Mookie Wilson, Bud Harrelson, Mel Stottlemeyer, George Foster, Kevin Mitchell and Howard Johnson. The sigatures are bold and average an "8.5" out of a possible 10.
