Mickey Mantle Signed Hat
The Mick was the Elvis of the baseball set, making his mark in the decade when rock was born, and bridges sports and pop culture for a generation of Baby Boomers who revered him. Which makes this green and white "Rock N Rock Emporium" baseball cap -- a souvenir of MTV's celebrity softball games -- a natural and very cool place for his always coveted signature, turned here in blue sharpie on the green bill, grading an 8/10. However, Mantle may not have been as into rock and roll as his fans, as he wrote above his name "Stop the Shit!", though this may simply have been the typical Mantle salty wit at work, perhaps a reaction to seeing Alice Cooper in a baseball uniform.
