Mickey Mantle Upper Deck Game Used Bat Card
This Mantle card has all the other Micks -- even the '52 Bowman -- beat in one respect: it has an actual piece of a Mantle game-used bat embedded to the front of the card. From Upper Deck's 2002 "A Piece of History 500 Club" series. Front of card has images of the Mick swinging and a close-angle shot, and a facsimile signature under the sliver of wood which peaks through an opening on the right side. Card is a hot item and in this example is NRMT and a recent-vintage must-have Mantle.
