Mickey Mantle X-Rated Autograph Referencing Infamous Yankee Questionnaire (PSA & JSA)
Fantastic signed cut quoting perhaps the most memorable and "scandalous" player questionnaire of all time. A quick search makes it easy to find the contents of Mickey Mantle's 1972 Yankees team questionnaire in which the Pinstripes legend clearly had some fun, with answers that have been lightly referred to as "lewd." This particular 4.25x3.75" paper is mounted on 4.75x4.5" backing stock and references two specific sections in which Mantle referenced his exploits with a female fan in the bullpen while sitting out an injury. The original questionnaire - with Mantle's handwritten answers, verifying the legend - was sold in a recent Lelands auction for nearly $250,000; the only writing on this cut is a flowing blue ballpoint signature in 10/10 right above the ironically printed phrase "The All American Boy."
