Mid 1960’s Pele Game Worn Santos Jersey
This is the best AND earliest Pele jersey that Leland’s has ever handled. This beautiful Santos F.C. jersey was acquired directly from Pele himself. The gentleman who obtained it arranged international tours and tournaments for some of the world’s leading soccer clubs throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, including Inter Milan, AC Milan, AS Roma, Flemengo FC of Rio and a multitude of others. Because of his dream job he was able to appropriate this amazing piece of soccer history. It is vintage signed (immediately after it was worn) in blue ballpoint on the front, just above the team logo (grades a 5/10). There is a second signature on the back between the numbers that is slightly more faded than the front. The Santos shield and stars on the left breast are all original, as is the “10” on the back (black tackle twill material). The jersey is Brazilian made and has “Malhas Athleta” tag on the collar. This is a not the kind of jersey that you get a second chance at owning.
