Mid-1970s Dwight White Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey (Steelers Letter)
Mid-1970s Dwight White game worn Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. Black home top has Sand-Knit size 52 and Steelers Exclusive tags on front tail, White's number 78 on front, sleeves, and back, and name in gold lettering on a plate on back. This specimen should have its own designation as "game abused" instead of game used, with about 30 team repairs scattered from front-to-back and across the shoulders. That makes sense as the four-time Super Bowl earned the name "Mad Dog" due to his intensity on the fabled "Steel Curtain" defense, and this jersey tells every bit of that story. Selected as a member of Pittsburgh's All-Time team in 2007, white played 10 seasons in the Steel City.
