Beautiful 1950 Philadelphia Phillies signed baseball, all signatures on this National League (Frick) ball are 9/10, with only very slight toning to the ball itself. The 1950 Phillies, aka the "Whiz Kids", won the National League crown in the final game of the season with a win on the road at Ebbets Field against the Brooklyn Dodgers. While the Phils would lose three one-run games and be swept by the Yankees in 4 games in the World Series, the Whiz Kids have remained legendary in Philadelphia. Ashburn, Roberts, Sisler, Seminick, Lopata, Sawyer, Bengough, Jones, Waitkus, all are on this piece of Philadelphia baseball history.
