MLB Umpires Signed Baseball Collection (14)
Collection of fourteen multi-signed baseballs, all bearing the signatures of former Major League Baseball umpires (some more than once). The highlights are a signature of Al Barlick and three signatures of Doug Harvey, each of whom is enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame. These signed baseballs all originate from the personal collection of a gentleman named Ed Shane and many of the signatures are personalized either "To Ed" or "To Eddie." In addition to the signatures of Barlick and Harvey, the collection also features those of Paul Pryor, Bruce Froemming, John Kibler, Dana Demuth, Jerry Crawford, Tom Hallion, Charlie Williams, Gerry Davis, Ed Rapuano, Joe West, Nick Colosi, Satch Davidson, John McSherry, Tony Randazzo, Ed Vargo (single-signed), Dick Stello, Ed Montague, Dutch Rennert, and Mike Everitt. Signatures average 7/10. The balls, all of which are either official National League or Major League examples, display varying degrees of age toning and are otherwise in Excellent condition overall except for one (splits along the stitch lines).
