Monmouth Park Jocks Signed Poster
Sixteen caricatures of renowned jockeys are illustrated in this matted poster that is signed by no fewer than 14 of them. The piece was commissioned in 1988, when Monmouth Park hosted an old-timers jockey get-together featuring famous names such as Eddie Arcaro, Johnny Longden and Braulio Baeza, all of whom are included here. Triple Crown winner, Hall of Fame jockey and rider of Secretariat, Ron Turcotte, has also signed. These names are equivalent to Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Knute Rockne and Joe DiMaggio in other sports. The poster, which measures roughly 19.5"x15" matted, was drawn by PEB, the renowned racing caricaturist. A real treasure!
