Monty Stratton Collection including Jimmy Stewart Signed Photo as Stratton (5 pieces)
Monty Stratton was a hero for losing his leg in a hunting accident and still coming back to pitch with an artificial limb. Best of all is a vintage signed snapshot photo of Jimmy Stewart in uniform from the movie, "The Stratton Story," in which he starred as the White Sox pitcher, and a Monty Stratton signed photo, both with JSA Certificates. Also included is a Monty Stratton signed 1939 bank check and a 1939 Monty Stratton Day ticket stub for the City Series game between the Cubs and White Sox. Comes with accompanying facsimile signed note from Stratton thanking fans for buying the Stratton Day ticket. Overall EX-MT condition.
