Napoleon Lajoie WWI Game Model Griffith Fund Bat (33.75")
This 1917 game model Napoleon Lajoie bat was a dead ringer for the lumber he employed from his 1915-16 stint with the Philadelphia Athletics. A vintage Louisville Slugger 125, this bat was distributed to WWI servicemen as part of the Clark C. Griffith Ball and Bat Fund. The bat bears the stamping of the fund on the barrel with an embossed Washington, D.C. Amazingly, the bat remains in game-ready condition.
