Native Dancer would have retired an undefeated TC winner except for his one loss by a diminishing head in the 1953 Kentucky Derby. These booklets and passes are the last remaining admission items for the great thoroughbred offered by this longtime collector. Documentation from the National Museum of Racing in Saratoga Springs confirming that both the 1953 & 1954 Saratoga Clubhouse booklets were exhibited in the museum. 1) 1952: Saratoga Clubhouse booklet #3002, with all tickets intact and string attached (ND raced 4 times during the meet). 2) 1953: Kentucky Derby - General Admission (2), Grand Stand Box (2), Stadium Terrace (2), Clubhouse pass, working Press Box pass, Photographer passes signed by Brownie Leach (2). Belmont Park - Spring 1953 Clubhouse booklet (May 6 thru June 17 including the Belmont Stakes, ticket intact, (also won the Wither s). Washington Park- Clubhouse booklet# 16 (ND won the American Derby on 8/22), Owner-Trainer Clubhouse pass E # 2158 & 1953 Boxholder # 424, both for the same American Der by. Queens County JC Clubhouse (Aqueduct) - summer meet (won the Dwyer) & Saratoga 1953 Clubhouse booklet featuring the Travers. Previous two booklets have all tickets intact including original strings. 3)1954: Belmont Park- Spring booklet (all tickets intact) (5/7 & 5/15 - Metropolitan Stakes) & Saratoga 1954 booklet with all tickets intact (8/16 last race). Note: Champion Tom Fool appears in ten races, winning 9.
