This fabulous image of Hall of Famer Ned Hanlon was taken by Carl Horner. Hanlon had an unexceptional career as a ballplayer in the late 19th century, but went on to an illustrious managerial career that lasted nearly 20 years. The photo is pencil dated "1906" in the top left corner and is mounted on board (vintage). "HANLON MGR." is written in white on the board below the picture. Measures 5 x 7.5" including 3/4" of board at the bottom. VG.
