Negro League Greats Signed Ron Lewis Print (Artist Proof)
Beautiful signed Ron Lewis artist's proof color lithograph of Negro League greats. It was commissioned as a tribute to Leon Day shortly after his death. It is signed and numbered by artist Lewis (AP 22/50) and measures 24" x 30" framed. The print depicts Day shaking hands with Satchel Paige at the base of a rainbow up in the sky. Below the two great pitchers are 21 Negro League greats in their player uniforms which they have personally signed over their respective jerseys in blue sharpie. Includes Leonard, Cash, Irvin, Vazquez, Cash, Johnson, Black, Peace, Awkward, Jethroe, Mathis, Manning, Fields, Glenn, Benson, Duckett, Wilmore, Gulley, O'Neil, Walker and Harris. Comes with an LOA signed by Mrs. Leon Day.
