Negro Leaguer Chet Brewer Signed Puerto Rican Winter League Contract (1940)
Negro League signatures are hard to come by and here we have a prime example of league pitcher, Chet Brewer’s, written in black ball point which easily rates a 9.5 out of 10. The signature is on a San Juan League player’s contract dated September 20th, 1940. The condition of the contract is EX/NRMT with some minor fold lines and only some very minimal age spots near the edge.
