Fragments of earth and stone taken directly from the site of the stadium the day construction of the Dodgers new home officially began. Held within this 4"x5"x1.75" white box with blue printed cover that reads, "Ground Breaking Ceremony, New Dodger Stadium, Chavez Ravine-Los Angeles, September 17, 1959." signed by owner Waler O'Malley in blue ink with additional ink markings on the underside.
