Official American League (MacPhail) ball signed in black ink by the following nineteen former New York Yankees: Mickey Mantle (sweet spot), Joe DiMaggio (sweet spot), Roger Maris, Johnny Mize, Waite Hoyt, Lefty Gomez, Bill Dickey, Hector Lopez, Moose Skowron, Bill Stafford (blue ink), Joe Collins, Ed Lopat, Horace Clarke, Tom Gorman, Allie Reynolds, Steve Hamilton, Tom Tresh, Gene Woodling, and Johnny Blanchard. The signatures average 5/10. The ball displays light, scattered age toning and is otherwise in Near Mint condition. Balls featuring the signatures of Mantle, DiMaggio, and Maris are scarce, especially those featuring Mantle and DiMaggio together on the sweet spot. This ball was most likely signed during a Yankees Old Timers' Day game during the early 1980s and it should be noted that all the signers, with the exception of Hector Lopez, are deceased.
