Nice Golf Lot (almost 500 pieces)
As golf lots go, this one is a hole in one, with plenty of cool stuff, such as: 1) a 12x18" matted and shrink-wrapped Bobby Jones print of him winning the 1927 British Open at St. Andrews, reprinted by Fortune magazine with special permission from Currier & Ives (nice!). 2) 1920s Kodak Cinegraph 16mm film "Bobby Jones National Champion No. 1092B" in original box. The film inside appears to be something different. 3) U.S. Open golf programs from 1973, 1989 and three from 1994. 4) Intriguing golf decanter, gold, Jim Beam "Bing Crosby National Pro-Am Tournament 1973," in original box, and 5) a fabulous collection of 477 felt patches with the logos of various golf courses. There is lots of duplication, but from the 1950s primarily. The breakdown value is tremendous.
