November 5, 2005 Mats Sundin Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey
Mats Sundin scored 564 goals and compiled 1,349 points in his illustrious career including 420 and 987 with the Toronto Maple Leafs, respectively. One of the greatest Swedish-born players to ever play in the NHL, Sundin had his #13 honored this past season by the Maple Leafs and no one will ever wear his iconic #13 again in Toronto. This jersey is from the 2005 Hockey Hall of Fame game held on November 5, 2005 as the Maple Leafs hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning at Air Canada Centre. Sundin netted one goal, Toronto’s third of the game and assisted on Jeff O’Neill’s goal in the first period for a two-point night while wearing this jersey. A few marks on the back and front of the right sleeve and about a dozen on the front. A few large marks on the back along with some sweat stains. Sundin’s Captain’s “C” proudly adorns the left chest while the 2005 Hockey Hall of Fame Game – Induction Weekend patch sits on the righ chest. The beautiful Maple Leaf crest sits below the lace-up collar and Sundin’s name is on a name-length nameplate on the back above Sundin’s #13. Letter of Authenticity from MeiGray (#C09825) and a photo-match are included.
