Forty seasons and 39 opening days have passed since Busch Stadium first opened its doors in 1966. In 2005, the final opening day took place on April 8th against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Cardinals came from behind, as they had so many times before, and put one in the win column. After the game the entire Cardinals team signed a ball that had been used in the game. It’s an official Rawlings NL ball with Allan H. Selig’s stamped signature. MLB silver hologram is also on it. 35 Cardinals signatures in blue ballpoint on this treasure of Cardinals history and the ball shows excellent game use. (Estimate $500 - $1,000)
