Orientate Halter (LOA)

Rare halter worn post-career by thoroughbred Orientate, who was trained by Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lucas. The Bay stallion won an impressive 10 of 19 career races, earning $1.7 million for his career, with his highlight victory coming in the 2002 Breeder's Cup Sprint, after which he was voted the U.S. Champion Sprint Horse of 2002. Moderate-to-heavy use displayed includes abrasions to the leather straps, scratching to the engraved nameplate, and some green transfers on or around the metallic surfaces. Comes with Letter of Authenticity from Northview Stallion Station in Chesapeake City, MD, stating that this authentic halter was donated to the 2016 Thursday's Child Foster Kids charity auction.
