Original 500 Home Run Signed Bat from The Atlantic City Show
The 500 Home Run Club is a very exclusive group of baseball players; it is an honor shared only by those who show both exceptional power and longevity in Major League Baseball. This commemorative bat celebrates the few players to cross this milestone, and features a metal plaque bolted to the barrel with "500 Home Run Club" and the names of all its members in black, each of whom have signed this piece in uniform blue Sharpie. Autographs include: Willie Mays, Reggie Jackson, Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron, Mike Schmidt, Ernie Banks, Eddie Matthews, Harmon Killbrew, and a special one from Mickey Mantle with his home run total of "536", inscribed beneath. All the signatures rate between 8-9/10. The bat itself is a 33.5" Rawlings Adirondack Pro Ring, weighing 32 oz., and has "24/300 B.H." written on the knob in blue Sharpie. The handle is displayed as unfinished natural wood, while the barrel shines.
