It seemed like a cockamamie idea when the Beatles gave their blessing to a cartoon adventure with their likenesses, but 1968's "Yellow Submarine" caught the public's fancy with its whimsical, subtly drugged-out images and hip dialogue (though the voices were not those of the Fab Four). These 4 original pencil sketches for the movie should tantalize all Beatlemania collectors. Each sketch is one a separate sheet ranging from 9 x 11 to 16 x 19. Three of the sketches are matted together and 3 drawings have pencil or ink notations. All drawings NRMT and have inestimable historical value for Beatle-oids..
