Original Yankee Stadium Seat in Amazing Original Condition
One would be hard-pressed to find an antique stadium seat in better condition than this relic from the original Yankee Stadium, which housed these seats from 1923-1973. The original blue paint is exceptional as our consignor went to Yankee Stadium and waded through a mountain of seats to specifically choose this one. The curved back, free-standing chair measures 23" x 30" and has the #6 stenciled on its back. Comes with brass tag and rail marker. During the time this seat was part of the Stadium's landscape, the Yankees won 27 American League pennants and an astounding 20 World Series, including the 1923 Fall Classic, when this seat was brand spankin' new.
