Pair of Lou Brock Designed Kid's Shoes (1969) in Box w/ Signed Brochure and Ad
This pair of youth size converse sneakers were designed by Lou Brock, as a substitute for the metal spikes worn by adult ball players. It's no surprise that a ball player renowned for his base stealing abilities designed a shoe to help young players dig their heels in and grip the field to help with speed. Along with the shoes and advertisement is a small brochure titled "baseball hints from Lou Brock" which is signed in blue sharpie on the bottom right hand corner. The vibrant signature easily rates a 9.5 out of 10.
