Pamphlet Advertising 1908 Boxing Match Battling Nelson vs. Joe Cans
A most unique promo for the July 4, 1908 lightweight title match between Battling Nelson and Joe gans, printed by the Sea Foam Bond Co., which made tissue-thin paper usually used for carbon copies. Pamphlet has a mock ticket on the front and a double-truck rendering of a ring and a crowd on the underside, which opens to 15 x 17" to feature images of the two fighters and fight info. In remarkably good condition (VG-EX) considering its age and delicate paper.
