Paul McCartney Letter To President Bill Clinton
Important letter written from the President of Popular Music to the President of the United States. Working letter is on his personal “Paul McCartney” stationery. Invitation to a PETA event is dated 4th June, 1999 reads: “To Mr. President and First Lady (or dare I say Bill and Hillary), PETA are holding a Millennium Gala in Los Angeles on the 18th September, and it is my great pleasure to invite you both. I suspect that you will have more important things to do, but if not it would be fantastic to see you there. Warm regards, (signed in black ink) Paul.” The lot also includes the final version of the letter facsimile signed by Paul and lists celebrity attendees like Alec Baldwin, Richard Pryor, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Lee Curtis and more.
