Pele Jersey Worn In The 1981 Film "Victory"

Pele Jersey Worn In The 1981 Film "Victory"

Widely believed to be the greatest soccer player ever to grace a pitch, Pele earned an IMDB credit as an "actor" in the 1981 film "Victory," in which he played footballer Luis Fernandez (not much of a stretch), who plays on a team of Allied prisoners of war coached and led by English Captain John Colby (Michael Caine). They agree to play an exhibition match against a German team, only to find themselves involved in a German propaganda stunt. Here's your chance to own Pele's kit worn in the movie and acquired directly from the film's wardrobe department by assistant cameraman Mike Rutter. Collar tag has washing instructions and PELE written in black pen. There are red and blue vertical stripes on front and back, as well as the number 10 in blue felt on the back. Shows excellent use and comes with COA. Spoiler alert: the good guys manage to escape when the fans storm the field after the two teams draw.
