Perfect Game Pitchers Signed 1st Day Covers (2)
Two Centennial of Baseball covers (3.5”x6.5”), of different design, own a total of nine black ink signatures from the few men ever to pitch a perfect “no-hit” game. The first illustrated cover (EX-MT) has autographs from Ernie Shore, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Chas Robertson, Sandy Koufax, and Don Larsen. The other cover, also EX-MT, is missing only Larsen. Overall the signatures grade an “8” out of “10”. Both are stamped with date, “Sep 24, 1969”.
