Pete Rose Batting Helmet
Early 1970's batting helmet was worn by the man they called "Hustle" during his days as the high octane engine in the Big Red Machine. Manufactured by American Baseball Cap, with their raised mark on the underside of the visor, and written with Rose's number "14" in black marker on the inner padding. The size tag was removed long ago but it appears to be 7 1/8. Outstanding game use inside and out, most noticeable on the scuffed outer shell and well-worn inner headband. Just terrific!
