Pitching Bird From Stairwell
Just like his identical twin elsewhere in this auction you’d best not dig in too deep in the batter’s box if he’s on the mound, unless you’re seeking a baseball making contact with your body. He used to hang in a stairwell at Busch directly opposite his identical twin. Walking between them could be intimidating until you realized they were on your side. At 3 X 2-1/2’ he looms large, and the expression on his face is not one you want to see if you need to be soothed. When you see him eyeing you from the mound with that look of “Don’t even bother swinging” you know that escaping your at bat unharmed is a victory by itself.
