President Harry Truman with 1961 Home Run Twins Wire Photo
Feast your eyes on this superb shot of the 33rd President of the United States posed with iconic sluggers Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Both Yankee greats are holding the best game-used bat your eyes ever saw, literally caked with pine tar. Truman was a former president at the time of this photo as his final term ended in 1953, seven years prior to Maris donning the pinstripes. Great editors' notes on the back are testament to its vintage. Measures 9 1/18" x 6 5/8" and is one we have not seen.
