Rare 1906 Brooklyn Baseball Tickets (2)
That's the ticket! Feast your eyes on these rare 1906 ducats from the 1906 Brooklyn Superbas team that was a precursor to the Dodgers and played at Washington Park. One of the tickets is laminated with some chipping at the corners while the other is in VG condition. Unlike today's tickets, these feature the home schedule and a few notable details. First, the Pittsburgh Pirates are listed as "PITTSBURG," minus the "H." and the tickets show a copy of team owner Charles H. Ebbets' signature. Of course, the Dodgers' future home, Ebbets Field, was named after him as he financed its construction in 1912.
