Rare Joe Louis vs Arturo Godoy Advertising Card
The first of its kind to surface is this 4"x5.5" advertising card used by partners RCA and NBC to promote their services to radio stations in Puerto Rico. The text, entirely in Spanish, on the reverse references their recent broadcast of the February 9, 1940 bout between Louis and Godoy. On front are the images of both fighters alongside their facsimile signatures. Lightly and evenly toned, radio station stamp on the back, EX-MT.
