Some of the original contracts, script notes, and copyright contracts from Dean's cinematic landmark and his most famous films. The scene of the ill-fated drag race (an eerie portent of Dean's early demise after making just 3 movies) is likely the most emulated in all film history. The hard to find collection includes the signatures of Natalie Wood, screenwriter Irving Shulman and Studio execs from Warner Brothers. Some of these highly collectible items also include the story purchase agreement for Rebel Without a Cause, Natalie Wood's signed SAG contract,the licensing agreement to use still photos for promotional purposes from James Dean films The James Dean Story, Giant, and Rebel Without a Cause. In all 17 contracts and various agreements make up this unique set. Included also are the original Rebel Without a Cause cast sheet, story digest, and Warner Brothers story purchase agreement. Signatues are all excellent. This is a dream come true for celluloid freaks and worshipers of the legacy of the man who was too fast to live and too young to die.
