Reggie Lewis Game Used Sneaker Used In Court Exhibit
In 1993, during a simple shoot around at the Celtics practice facility, Reggie Lewis collapsed to the hardwood never to regain conciosness again. He took with him that day the hopes and dreams of his fans as well as those of the Boston franchise he once carried. Shortly after he was laid to rest a multi-million dollar court battle began involving his widow, Donna Lewis, and his former cardiologist Dr. Gilbert Mudge. Directly from that courtroom comes this black Reebok Pump sneaker tagged "Exhibit 50 6/14/99". The single size "16" shoe shows good use and is signed in silver sharpie over the toes.
