Resplendent 1890s French Horse Racing Statue By Pedro Ramon Jose Rigual

A dynamic photo-finish highlights this elegant piece, with wind ripping though manes and jockeys at hellish pace. This 1890s French spelter statue is by art nouveau sculptor Pedro Ramon Jose Rigual (1863-1917). Fresh from a rich Connecticut estate, the quality is exceptional and a luxurious brass plaque on front translates to “THE GOAL! by Rigual.” Brass plug in the back reads "Fabrication Francaise Paris Made in France" with the heavy marble base of exceptional quality offering the finishing touch. Awesome representation of the Sport of Kings, it measures 17.25x16x9" and is in EX condition.
