Reunion Jersey of 1954-55 Mays-Clemente Santuce Puerto Rican Winter League Team
Remarkably authentic retro 1954-55 Santurce Sand Crabbers jersey from a reunion of the legendary team that had Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente in the outfield and won the Puerto Rican Winter League and Caribbean WS championships. "Escuadron del Panico" (Swarm of Panic) on the back around the number "11" in blue was the fans' nickname for the fearsome foursome of Mays, Clemente and Negro leaguers Bus Clarkson, Robert Thurman and George Crowe, and also for the team itself. Front has the "S" logo on the chest. "Coane" label on front tail. Jersey is well worn with soil and sweat stains, just as they looked in '54.
