Rick Danko, the late, great bass player of The Band and longtime cohort of Bob Dylan, was presented this magnificent and hardl-earned statuette when the seminal 70's supergroup was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. The 22" shale-black figurine hoisting a mini-record is mounted on a 4 1/4" marble base bearing a gold plate inscribed with the details of the occasion. Scattered nicks on the statuette and gold record hardly detract from the overall magnificence -- and significance -- of this very rare memento of rock history. Condition is VG-EX.
