Roger Maris Twice-Signed 61st Home Run Photo from Early Show Signing
This Roger Maris signed 8x10" is THE classic photo of him hitting legendary #61, from one of the earlier show signings, when photos were supplied by Maris himself. Best of all, added above the bold and bright blue ballpoint pen ink, is the indentation of the previous signature Maris signed from the stack - hence the dual signage. On back, handwritten, is a description of the photo itself: Roger Maris, 61st Home Run 1/Oct/61, Russ Nixon - Catcher. There's a crease on the bottom right corner and three indents on left side of photo. Also comes with signed 3x5" of Sal Durante, the man who caught #61, inscribed "I Caught Maris' 61st HR."
