Many music critics consider the Rolling Stones' 1972 double album "Exile on Main St." to be the British Band's best work. Though not packed with many radio hits ("Tumbling Dice" was the most successful single), the overall mixture of rock, blues, soul, gospel and even country created a melodic melting pot that proved irresistible to listeners of all ages and backgrounds. On the turntable here is a framed, platinum "platter" that was presented to lead singer Mick Jagger "to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies." The RIAA logo appears at the bottom along with the small cover and a platinum cassette. Side One is featured and the whole piece is in NRMT condition, measuring 17" x 21". Rolling Stone Magazine ranked "Exile on Main St." #7 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and "Entertainment Tonight" declared it the #1 CD of all-time.
