Rolling Stones Royal Albert Hall Concert Contract
The Rolling Stones quickly outgrew the London club scene and moved on to larger venues like the venerable Royal Albert Hall, paving the way for many of rock's most memorable concerts in the joint (and a line in "Day in the Life" about "how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall"). The Stones agreed to play one concert on February 1, 1964 according to this agreement dated November 7, 1963 between the Hall's management and Stones manager Eric Easton. Their pay would be a mere 150 British pounds .Compare that to the millions they get today before they even take the stage! The 8 x 12" document has held up well, with some very minor wear on the borders. Three subtle fold marks. VG-EX o/a .
