Roy Campanella Photograph Collection (73)
One of the greatest catchers the game ever produced, Roy Campanella was an eight-time All-Star before his career was cut short by a car accident that left him confined to a wheelchair. This scrapbook of priceless photos is a must-have keepsake for anyone who treasures Dodgers history. About half are original prints from the time period of his playing career (1948-57) and the other half are later prints made from original negatives. There are action shots, publicity photos and wonderful candids showing all sides of the man nicknamed "Campy." The average condition is EX and all are carefully preserved in plastic sleeves. All the shots are housed in a white Brooklyn scrapbook with the famous royal blue Dodgers logo emblazoned on the front.
