Roy Campanella Signed Bat and Print
One of the prominent players in the fight to break the Major Leagues' color barrier, ex-Negro Leagues catcher Roy Campanella was one of the greatest ever to squat behind the plate, and he autographed both of these items. Campy and the artist signed the 22x28.5" framed print in pencil and it is listed as #218 of 250. The bat is a Hillerich and Bradsby show model and is signed on the barrel in 9/10 black Sharpie. Campanella's career was cut short in 1958 when he was paralyzed in a car accident, three years after helping lead Brooklyn to its only World Series triumph.
