Salada & Sprite Hockey Coin and Bottle Cap Collection
Two complete sets of 1960s hockey advertising promotions. For the 1961-62 NHL season Salada Foods and Shirriff Desserts offered a 120-piece plastic coin collection representing each of the original six teams. Each set was a different color and included all players on the roster plus the head-coach. Three years later the Coca Cola Company put forward a 108-piece bottle cap set of all roster players in the league. These sets are difficult to find complete, and here they are. The Sprite set has been mounted on a solid oak display plaque.
